Shamyrat Herremov
Advisor to the Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan on agro-industrial complex and fisheries
Herremov Shamyrat Rejebovich was born in Ashgabat in 1956.
In 1978 he graduated with honours from the zooveterinary faculty of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute (now the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov) with a degree in livestock engineer.
In 1978-1979 - operator at the fattening enterprise of Ashgabat district. In 1979-2005 - senior laboratory assistant, assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, dean of the Faculty of Zooveterinary Medicine, head of the Department of Animal Husbandry of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. In 2005-2009, he held various positions in the livestock complex "Sha Yoly" of the Presidential Fund under the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, in the Institute of Strategic Planning and Economic Development of Turkmenistan, in 2009-2023 - Head of the Department of Agro-Industrial Complex and Fishery of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The thesis for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences was defended at the Alma-Ata Zooveterinary Institute in 1983, in 1996 at the Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev he defended the thesis for the degree of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences. The academic rank of associate professor was awarded in 1995. Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He is the author of 122 scientific works, including 6 educational and scientific books. He is one of the authors of the breed of Karakul sheep ‘Mane’, which naturally produces many twin lambs.
He was awarded the medal "For Love to the Motherland" by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan in 1996, and in 2017 by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan he was awarded a commemorative sign in honour of the 26th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan.
He currently works as an advisor to the Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan on agro-industrial complex and fisheries.
